Saturday was beautiful day shoot some college football in Indiana! The weather was perfect and ripe for an Iowa Hawkeyes victory over the hometown Purdue Boilermakers. Here's a few frames from the B1G win! Cheers!

You could cut the air (or a pylon) when the finals for the Indy Red Bull Air Race began on Sunday, Oct. 2 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The stands were full of people and you could hear their excitement as the day progressed from a field of 14, down to 8 and as the final four duked it out for the top spot. The winner was German pilot Matthias Dolderer (21). Cheers!

Day Two of the road trip started early with a scheduled helicopter ride over the eastern part of the Badlands. It was a short 10-minute flight, but the views were spectacular, as you'll see below! Day One: The idea for a "road trip" had been brought up a long time ago among friends. There was only two of us, but it was going to happen. An 8-day trip from Iowa to Yellowstone and SO much between! We started the journey in Ft. Dodge, IA and the goal for day one was to get through the flat farmland of Iowa and South Dakota and camp the first night in the Badlands.

As weddings go, you can always tell in the first 15 minutes how the day will go - and the wedding of Alec Hamaker and Monica Lamirand was no different. I walked into the room for the groom and groomsmen and was immediately met with laughter and good spirits. The rest of the day and evening followed suit.
The scene was perfectly set in rural Zionsville, IN for the union of two like-minded individuals that seemed to be totally enamored with each other. The more time I spent with Monica & Alec, the easier it was to tell why they decided to tie the knot. Congrats!
