Cornell Sports Late-Winter Update

It’s been an extremely busy winter, attempting to photograph and film as many as events as humanly possible on an Ivy League weekend schedule. So here’s a few of my favorite frames from the past couple weeks from the following: a gymnastics home invite, men’s ice hockey vs Harvard and St. Lawrence, women’s basketball vs Princeton, wrestling vs Lock Haven, Penn and Princeton (for an Ivy League Title!) and last, but not least, just two frames from baseball practice. #YellCornell

Big Red Wrestling: On The Road vs Brown & Harvard

The Cornell Big Red wrestling team went on a weekend road trip to battle Ivy League opponents Brown and Harvard this past weekend and I had the distinct pleasure to travel with the team to capture some photo and video. Head coach Rob Koll earned his 300th career victory with the 42-6 win over Brown and No. 301 with the 50-0 win over Harvard. #YellCornell

Cornell Ice Hockey : Mid-Winter Update

Upper Buttermilk Falls State Park - Morning Hike

This week's hike was at Upper Buttermilk Falls State Park just south of Ithaca, NY and the weather could not have been more perfect! It's been in the 90's all week and it finally relented for the weekend and gave me the opportunity to hike through the upper part of the park, see Lake Treman (from the ground and the air) and enjoy the outdoors! Short blog tonight with a few highlight images from the Ithaca, NY community Fourth of July fireworks show, as seen from Libe Slope on the Cornell University campus. I was hoping for a better angle to include the clock tower and the fireworks, but no complains with a couple nice before photos of the clock tower, a couple fireworks shots of the crowd on Libe Slope and one shot of the clock tower as the crowd retreated from the bugs. Happy Fourth of July!

Colleagues highly suggested Buttermilk Falls State Park as my next destination after last week's hike at Watkins Glen. So with some sunshine in the forecast and my camera in-hand, I set out to the south side of Ithaca to see what all the fuss was about!
