The opportunity came around again for me to "guest coach" with another of DePauw University's athletic teams this fall and I jumped on the opportunity to spend some time with HC Bill Lynch, his staff and team this week on the gridiron. First- thank you's owed to the athletic department for the incredible opportunity and to Coach Lynch and his staff for being so welcoming this week.
The College of Wooster traveled to Greencastle, IN one man short after the tragic death of one of their players last week and the game started with a moment of silence and the team initially took the field with only 10 men as a tear-worthy tribute. The first photo below the text is the DePauw sideline and Coach Lynch paying their respects.
Onto the good stuff! The final score was very representative of the beating the Tigers put on Wooster today in the extreme heat. It's been unusually hot all week and today was no different - you can see the heat coming off the field turf in some of the photos below. But despite the slow start to the game and temperature, the team took control early and never let down and sealed the deal with a 51-24 victory. Check out the photos below from today's win and as always, #GoTigers! #TeamDePauw
